• In the diagram below, data is transm itted from a
" m aster" transm itter to the linked " slave"
transm itters in sequence. The procedure for setting
up this type of m aster/slave connection is described
on the follow ing page.

• When displaying a three-dim ensional exhibit and a
w ider area needs to be covered by the Audio
Guidance System , m ultiple XA-GT1TN Infrared
Address Transm itters can be connected to operate
together. To accom plish this setup, one transm itter
is set as the " m aster" and the other transm itters are
set as " slaves." All of the address data that is set
for the m aster w ill be transm itted from all of the
slaves as w ell.
• As seen in the exhibit illustrated in the diagram ,
only one visitor facing the w ork of art can receive
the playback inform ation. How ever, by connecting
four XA-GT1TN transm itters in a m aster/slave
relationship, the visitor can listen to the playback at
different points surrounding the exhibit.
• Each transm itter's Auto/Point sw itch, should be set
to " P" point.

• A m axim um of five XA-GT1TN units can be
connected.
