Avoid places subject to strong vibration. U se in a
horizontal (flat) position only.
W hen you finish operating the unit, always unload
the casse tte and turn off the power.
To protect the unit from a lightning storm , unplug the
AC power cord from the wall outlet and disconnect
the antenna.
POWER SOURCE
TO USE AC POWER SOURCE
U se the AC pola rized line cord provided for operation on AC . Insert
the AC cord plug into a standard 12 0V 60H z polarized AC outlet.
NOTES:
1. N ever connect the AC line cord plug to other than the specified
voltage (120 V 60H z). U se the attache d power cord only.
2. If the pola rized AC cord does not fit into a non-pola rize d AC outlet,
do not attem pt to file or cut the blade. It is the user's responsibility
to have a n electrician replace the obsolete outlet.
3. If you cause a static discharge when touching the unit, and the unit
fails to function, sim ply unplug the unit, from the AC outlet, wait a
few m inutes, and plug it back in. T he unit should return to norm al
operation.
