Email Profiles

Once you have set up the SMTP network connection, you can use the EDIT EMAIL PROFILES
button, found in the Notifications tab of Event Scheduling for a selected device from the
System Settings menu, to create a list of destination e-mail addresses that you will use for
event notification. A destination address is the address to which a notification message will
be sent. For example, that address may be your e-mail address at work, or the email address
assigned to your wireless phone or text pager.
You will need to enter at least one email destination address in order to send email
notifications. To enter an email address, click on the EDIT EMAIL PROFILES button in the
Notifications tab to display the edit email profiles panel. Enter an e-mail destination address
into the e-mail address entry field (example: yourname@yourwork.com), then click on the
ADD button. A profile entry for that address should then appear in the profiles list at the
bottom of the panel. If you have additional destination addresses to add, you can do that
now, or else add them at a later time.
If you make a mistake, or you wish to delete an entry that you have already added to the
profiles list, click on and highlight the entry to be deleted (in the profiles list), then click on
the REMOVE button. To un-highlight an entry without taking action on it, click on the
CANCEL button. When you are finished adding destination addresses (or if you have not
taken any action), click on the DONE button to dismiss the edit email profiles panel.
