Day-Night Wireless Camera
The Day-Night Wireless Camera is a compact, high-resolution color video camera featuring automatic brightness, contrast, and white-balance controls. Image
brightness and contrast may also be controlled through the Motorola homesight Software system. The camera has a built-in microphone, passive infrared (PIR)
motion sensor and 8 illuminating infrared beams for night vision.
The night vision feature has 3 modes of operation (set in the camera's configuration menu):
• Auto: the night vision beams will be turned on/off automatically depending on the current light conditions. This is the default setting.
• Always On
• Always Off
The Day-Night Wireless Camera may be operated on a table top, or it may be mounted more permanently on a wall. The direction of view may be adjusted by
swiveling the camera head in the desired direction. For best results, the camera should be mounted in a position where it can detect motion across the field of
view, rather than directly towards or away from the motion sensor. Avoid pointing the camera lens directly at the sun or at a bright light source.
The scene that is viewed by the camera can be transmitted to the Motorola System Controller via the 2.4 GHz frequency band. Camera operation is controlled by
the system controller via a fully-supervised UHF telemetry link.
The Motorola homesight Software system provides for live camera viewing, still image capture, or video clip capture.
