Installing a Mat

Parts needed for this procedure:
1 Steel mat (not included in this kit, order separately)
Coconut-fiber mat (not included in this kit, order

separately)
11 Mat retainer
11 Bolt (3/8 x 1 inch)
11 Flange nut (3/8 inch)
Procedure
1. Line up 1 edge of the mat with the rear edge of the
carrier.
Important: If you are installing the steel mat,
position the mat so that the tabs along the
outside edge face rearward when the installation
is complete. This orientation prevents the tabs
from bending and other subsequent damage from
occurring.
