Power-On
Users are classified into two types: operator (preset password: 000001) and admin (preset

password: 000001).
After power-on, the device is in the shutdown state.

After power-on, the compressor starts preheating, and the system generates a compressor

preheating alarm. The preheating takes 12 hours. Before the compressor is preheated, the
device cannot be powered on. To obtain the remaining preheating time of the compressor,
choose Running > Device Details > Compressor.
1. Turn on the switch in the upstream PDF.
2. Turn on all switches of the device.
3. If the device is powered on for the first time, the Quick Settings screen is displayed. Set the
language, date format, date, time, time zone, teamwork control, system, optional components,
T/H sensors, and communications parameters. If the device is not powered on for the first
time, the home screen is displayed automatically.
4. (Optional) Set monitoring parameters.
Northbound RS485 Monitoring (Modbus_RTU Protocol)
a. On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > Modbus Settings and set the
baud rate to be the same as that on the network management system (NMS).
b. Set the communications address. The communications addresses of the two smart cooling
products connected to the same NMS must be different.
c. Set RS485 monitoring grouping.
For scenarios without grouping, set this parameter to Enable for the last device.

For scenarios with grouping, set this parameter to Enable for the last device in each

teamwork control group.
FE Monitoring (Modbus_TCP Protocol)
a. (LAN settings) On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > LAN IP Settings
and set LAN IP address assignment mode to Manual. Set LAN IP address, LAN subnet
mask, and LAN gateway according to the actual planning.
b. (WAN settings) On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > WAN IP Settings.
Set IP address, Subnet mask, and Gateway according to the actual planning.
c. On the home screen, choose Settings > Comm Settings > Modbus Settings. Set Link mode
to Server and client or Client, and set Client encryption to Enable.
d. Enter the actual IP address of the NMS.
e. When Client encryption is set to Enable, set NMS port number to 32907. When Client
encryption is set to Disable, set NMS port number to 32906.
•
If the DHCP server is configured on the NMS, select DHCP auto. If not, set this parameter
to Manual.
• The encryption mode must be the same as that on the NMS.
• After the Encryption operation CBC parameter is set, the system automatically restarts.
Exercise caution when performing this operation.
5. (Optional) Set teamwork parameters. On the home screen, choose
Settings. The Teamwork Settings screen is displayed.
In the following example, eight devices form a teamwork group.
