  • Page 13 One bottle is sufficient for 22 L of hydraulic fluid. Order Part No. 44-2500 from your Authorized Toro Distributor. Position the machine on a level surface. Make sure the machine has cooled down so fluid is cold.

    Controls MOW PEDAL (Fig. 4)—Depressing the mow pedal FULLY during operation lowers the cutting units and starts the reels. BRAKE PEDAL (Fig. 4)—The brake pedal actuates an automotive drum-type mechanical brake. LIFT PEDAL (Fig. 4)—Depressing the lift pedal during operation stops the reels from turning and lifts the cutting units.

    NOTE: When the Greensmaster 3100 is new and the Sit on the seat, place the shift selector in bearings and reels are tight, it is necessary to use the NEUTRAL, and check the mow and lift pedals to FAST throttle control position for this check.

The oil level in the main reservoir is reduced by 4 to 6 ounces due to oil contraction from cooling. If the alarm sounds, turn it off as quickly as possible and inspect for leaks.

ADJUSTING LIFT CYLINDERS When in the raised (transport) position, the front lift cylinders may be adjusted. Lower the cutting units to the floor. Loosen the jam nut on the clevis of the cutting unit lift cylinder to be adjusted.
