5.5.1 Installing the Power Cable Between the Power Adapter and
the Router
Context
The power adapter has been factory-installed. You only need to insert the output terminal of
the power adapter into the DC port on the router.
Procedure
Step 1 Insert the (two-core white) output terminal of the factory-installed power adapter into the
DC-IN port of the router.

The SmartACBox is factory-installed with two power adapter output terminals. Select an
appropriate output terminal based on the router type.

5.5.2 Installing the Network Cable Between the Router and the
SmartLogger1000
Procedure
Step 1 Remove the network cable bound to the monitoring compartment.
Step 2 Connect the U02-GE1/LAN1 connector of the network cable to the WAN/LAN2 port on the
router.
