Upgrading the IRD6000
The manufacturer will release new firmware aperiodically to fix the found software problems
or provide more functions. You can upgrade the IRD6000 using the Upgrade menu on
the web interface.
Using incorrect firmware version during the upgrade may cause irrecoverable damage to your
device. Therefore, ensure that the firmware you use to upgrade the IRD6000 is correct.
During the upgrade, do not disconnect the power supply.
If you have any questions, contact the technical support technicians before you perform the
upgrade.
To upgrade the IRD6000:
Step 1 Connect he MGNT port on the IRD6000 to a computer properly.

NOTE
Changes of parameter settings of MAC Address, IP Address, SubnetMask, and Gateway will not take
effect until the IRD6000 is restarted.

Description
 Enable: Data from UDPDestPort+4, the UDP target
port, will be compared and deemed as part of FEC data.
 Disable: Data from UDPDestPort+4, the UDP target
port, will be ignored.
Hardware address, used to define the location of network
devices.
Sets the IP address of the IP board.
Subnet mask
Gateway
Indicates whether there are vertical FEC data packets on this
channel.
Indicates whether there are horizontal FEC data packets on this
channel.
FEC parameters ranging from 1 to 20. FECL x FECD ≤ 100.
