1.4.1 Management

Operations on the Front Panel Buttons
Use the buttons on the front panel to access the operation menu to configure the settings.
Table 1-3 shows the management functions available on the front panel.

Password
The length of the password is 8 to 16 digits, comprising a combination of any two of the
following:

Uppercase letters from A to Z

Lowercase letters from a to z
−
Digits from 0 to 9

Acceptable special characters.
Certification
Certifies a user's identification using the HTTP protocol.
Authentication
Verifies whether a user's session identifier is valid and whether the user is authorized for
the operation when the user requests to access a web page or a servlet request is
launched.
Security of web service interfaces

Certifies the invocation of web service interfaces.
−
Complies with SSL V3.0 to ensure the safety and intactness of data during the
transmission.

Verifies the parameters submitted by web services.
Front panel lock
You can set the time and password to lock the IRD6000's front panel from the web
interface or front panel itself.
