NetNames+
NetNames+ is a PC software used to manage the PROFINET network, organize
the PROFINET devices, and avoid duplicated IP addresses and station names.
NetNames+ is included in the PROFINET-IO Configurator Express package available
in the RobotWare distribution package.

Installation
NetNames+ is included in the PROFINET-IO Configurator Express installation, see
PROFINET-IO Configurator Express on page
Use this procedure to install the NetNames+.

Action
Start NetNames+.
Select Network Adapter to the Ethernet
adapter used on the PC that connects to
the PROFINET network.
Click Options and make sure that Save
IP Addresses permanently is selected.
This makes sure that a name or IP ad-
dress change sent down from NetNames+
is saved by the PROFINET device.
Click the Refresh button.
To change a device's parameters, double-
click on that device and fill in the values
that need to be changed.
When done, click the Send button.

Note
Now NetNames+ will list all PROFINET
devices that are reachable on the network.
Using this view, it is possible to change
a device configuration parameters.
