[Upgrade] Category

The [Upgrade] Category has three submenus:

• Software License Authentication

• Program Upgrade (On-line)
• Program Upgrade (Off-line)
Software License Authentication
The SV8300 requires you to complete a software license authentication procedure using PCPro before you
can use its functions. Follow these steps:
(1) Access the Software License Authentication Center (Web server) to download license data on the
basis of the Software Key Code found in the license sheet supplied with the product.
(2) Register the downloaded license data from PCPro onto the SV8300 to create a PBX creation file
(keyCode.act).
(3) Access the Software License Authentication Center (Web server) again to obtain an Activation Code.
(4) Register the obtained Activation Code on the SV8300.
Software license authentication is carried out on the [Software License Authentication] menu. This menu
allows you to register and unregistered software licenses. You can also view the license data registered in
the SV8300.

Tips:

Register a temporary Activation Code

Register a temporary Activation Code to run the SV8300 temporarily until an Activation Code
obtained from the Software License Authentication Center can be registered.
