Manual Channel Search
Use this function to set up the channel that cannot be set up with the
Automatic or Semi-Automatic Channel Search. Channel set-up can be
made manually with the following procedures:

Press the TV MENU button on the remote control to display the
On-Screen TV Menu

Highlight the Preset icon from the main menu by pressing the
Point Up/Down button, and press the Point Right button to
select "MAN.". (Initially the Auto mode is selected.)

Highlight the Position icon by pressing the Point Up/Down
button and then select a channel with the remote control or the
front control. (e.g. if you want to fine tune channel 6, press the
Channel button 6.) Highlight the Search icon with the Point
Up/Down button and then press the Point Right button to enter
the channel search.

Press the Point Right or Left button and move the pointer until
desired channel is obtained.

After the fine tuning is completed, press the ALTERNATE (
button to return to the main menu.

Highlight the Memory icon by pressing the Point Up/Down
button and then press the Point Right button to set the channel.
"(OK)" message will be displayed and the channel setup is
completed.
Repeat step No.3 to No.6 to go on the other channels set-up.
NOTE:
In Manual Channel Search mode, set the Color system to AUTO and SIF system to S-1(Auto)
normally. Under bad receiving conditions, set the Color system and SIF system manually to
obtain optimum picture and clear sound if necessary. (Refer to p29-30 for setting the Color
system or the SIF system.)

Move the pointer until the clear picture is obtained.
Press the Point Right button for up and the Point Left
button for down.
The channel set-up is completed.
