Connecting to a drive interface (SAS cable)
[Base Module/Writer Unit]
Connect the interface cables used for data transfer to the
server.
The terminals for SAS cable connections are the SFF-
8644Mini-SASHD external connection terminals.
Use two types of cables: straight and branch cables.

≥ Use exclusive use SAS cables (optional).
≥ Connect the straight cable to the SAS1 terminal.
≥ Connect the branch cable to the SAS2 terminal.
≥ The drive interface connectors are fixed at a tilt angle of 15°.
Hold the SAS cables parallel to the connectors to insert
them.
