Network Connection and Printing Troubleshooting
The WPA encryption method type of the access point is set to TKIP, but
AES-CCMP is selected on the Encryption for WPA/WPA2 screen.
Confirm the following:
The WPA encryption method type. Set the WPA encryption method to 'Auto' if
necessary. (See "Selecting the Encryption and Authentication Method,"
on p. 2-10.)
Whether the access point settings are correct.
The PSK set differs from the PSK of the access point.
Confirm the following:
The PSK settings. If necessary, change the PSK to match the PSK of the
access point. (See "WPA/WPA2-PSK Settings," on p. 2-27.)
Whether the access point settings are correct.
A server certificate was not sent from the authentication server.
Confirm the settings of the authentication server and the access point.
The root issuer in the authentication path of the server certificate sent from the
authentication server did not match the root issuer of the root CA certificate.
Confirm the following:
Whether the root CA certificate in the authentication path of the authentication
server is installed. If the root CA certificate is not correct, refer to "Installing a
Root CA Certificate," on p. 2-13 to install the correct certificate.
Whether the authentication server address set in the access point is correct.
Whether the authentication server settings are correct.
The server certificate (authentication path) failed signature verification with the
root CA certificate.
Confirm the settings of the authentication server and the access point.
