3 With the label side facing up, insert the contact-pin end of the SD card
into the card slot on the module.
NOTE:
4 Press inward on the card to lock it into the slot.
5 Place the blade back in the chassis.

Removing a vFlash Media Card

To remove the vFlash media, push inward on the card to release it, and pull
the card from the card slot.

Enabling or Disabling the vFlash Media Card
NOTE:
The vFlash Enable check box is displayed only if a vFlash card is present.
If card is not present, the following message displays:
SD Card not inserted. Please insert an SD card of
size greater than 256MB.
1 Ensure that the vFlash card has been installed.
2 Open a supported Web browser window.
3 Log in to iDRAC6 Web interface.
4 In the system tree, select System.
5 Click the vFlash tab.
The vFlash screen appears.
6 Select the vFlash Enable check box to enable the vFlash Media Card.
Enabling the vFlash will expose the Image file ManagedStore.IMG
created on the SD card as a USB key of the selected size. vFlash can be
enabled only if a valid ManagedStore.IMG image is present on the SD
card. The ManagedStore.IMG and ManagedStore.ID files seen on the
vFlash GUI page are not visible on the host server's operating system but
are on the SD card. To disable, clear the vFlash Enable check box.
7 Click Apply.
