Cooling fans

The cooling fans are integrated into the system to dissipate the heat generated by the functioning of the system. These fans provide
cooling for the processors, expansion cards, and memory modules.
NOTE:
Your system supports up to eight standard or high performance hot swappable cooling fans.

Removing the cooling fan

Prerequisites
WARNING:
Do not drop the fan into the fan cage while removing or installing the fan as this may cause damage to the
connectors on the fan tray. Exercise utmost care while removing or installing cooling fans.

Press the release tabs and lift the cooling fan out of the fan cage.
