Removing the right control panel

Prerequisites
1
Follow the safety guidelines listed in
2
Follow the procedure listed in

Remove the fan cage.

Remove the air shroud.
5
If applicable, remove the expansion card risers and PEM.
NOTE:
Ensure that you note the routing of the cables as you remove them from the system board. You must route the
cables properly when you replace them to prevent the cables from being pinched or crimped.

Press the blue release tabs on the fan tray and lower the sides of the tray.
Steps
1
Press the cable management bracket until the tabs on the bracket disengage from the slots on the right side of the system.

Lift the cable management bracket from the system.
3
Holding the pull tab, disconnect the control panel cable from the system board.
4
Using Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the screws that connect the control panel to the system.
5
Holding the control panel by its sides, remove the control panel away from the system.
