The RUN LED of the MP10 card lights green and the MC LED flashes when the system
normally starts the booting process.

Once the booting is complete, the RUN LED of the MP10 card flashes green, and the MC
LED stops flashing and remains lit. (It takes approximately 2 ½ to 3 minutes to boot up).

Enable MGI channels by entering the appropriate license key in system programming (if
MGI services are required).
If the MP10 MMC+/SD card is not detected
If the system cannot detect the MP10 MMC+/SD card, the MC LED might not light or
flash. In such cases, turn off the power, replace the MP10 MMC+/SD card and turn the
power on again. If the MP10 MMC+/SD card is still not detected, turn off the power
and replace the MP10.

Check if the LED status of other interface cards is normal.
If the LED status of the MP10, or interface card is abnormal, turn off system power
and turn the power on again.
8.2b STARTING THE SYSTEM (MP10a)
It is required to clear memory and start with a default database when using the new MP10a
card. The MP10a card no longer has a battery switch to clear memory. The system memory is
cleared to default by the performing the following procedure:
1)
Check if the cards and cables are properly mounted and connected to the OfficeServ
7100 cabinet.
2)
Make sure the MP10a SD Card with system software is in the Media slot.
3)
To start the MP10a from default (Clear memory): Power up the system and wait for 3
minutes for the system to boot.
4)
Press and hold the RST (reset) switch on the front of the MP10a card for approximately 7
to 10 seconds (this will default the database).
5)
The RUN LED will change from GREEN to AMBER and will stop flashing after 10 seconds.
Release the RST switch and wait for system to complete the boot up process. Check the
LEDs of the MP10a.

The RUN LED of the MP10a card lights green and the MC LED flashes when the system
normally starts the booting process.
7)
Once the booting is complete, the RUN LED of the MP10a card flashes green, and the
MC LED stops flashing and remains lit (approximately 3 minutes).
8)
When the system completes the boot up process, the system memory is cleared and the
database is at default.
9)
Enable MGI channels by entering the appropriate license key in system programming (if
MGI services are required).
10) Test system for normal operation.
