Getting Started Getting Started The SURFboard® SB6141 DOCSIS® 3.0 Cable Modem provides high-speed access to the Internet and other online services on your home network. You can use your SB6141 to directly connect a computer to your home or small business LAN through an Ethernet connection. This guide provides a product overview and instructions for installing and configuring your SB6141 Cable Modem to get it up and running on your home network.

You may be able to change some network configuration settings. Note: You may notice that some of the SB6141 Web Manager configuration settings may be blocked and cannot be modified.

Reset the Factory Default Modem Settings At any time you can reset the SB6141 to its original factory configuration.
