Note: A traffic control trap is active only when the control action is configured as
shutdown. If the control action is drop there will no traps issue while storm event is
detected.
Format
config traffic trap [none | storm_occurred | storm_cleared | both]
Parameters
none - No notification will be generated when storm event is detected or cleared.
storm_occurred - A notification will be generated when a storm event is detected.
storm_cleared - A notification will be generated when a storm event is cleared.
both - A notification will be generated both when a storm event is detected and cleared.
Restrictions
Only Administrator, Operator and Power-User level users can issue this command.
Example
To configure a traffic control trap:
DGS-3620-28SC:admin#config traffic trap both
Command: config traffic trap both
Success.

show traffic control

Description
This command is used to display current traffic control settings.
Format
show traffic control {<portlist>}
Parameters
<portlist> - (Optional) Specify a range of ports to be shown.
Note: If no parameter is specified, the system will display all port packet storm control
configurations.
Restrictions
None.
