Setting
the A/V Network

The A/V Network
is a system
that Mitsubishi
developed
to make it
easier
to operate
many products
together.
When the A/V Network
is connected
between
two Mitsubishi
product,, you can point the
remote
control
at one product
and i_ will "pass" _he remote
control
command
to the other. To set up the A/V Network:

Set the clock
Memorize
channels
Addldetete
channels
II_ Set NV Network
Align colors
Use ADJUST
to select
"Then press ENTER.
Press MENU
to return
to
TV Main Menu.
Set A/V Network

Active
Use ADJUST
to select,
Then
press
ENTER.
Press MENU
to return to
First Time
Set-Up
Menu.
O Press tlhe MENU button
on the
remote
control. The Main Menu
will appear
on the screen.
O Select "'Firs_ Time Set-Up"
using
the ADJUST
bu_ttons;
then, press ENTER.
O Use ADJUST
to select "Set A/V
Network";
then, pres,,_ ENTER.
0 Use the ADJUST
buttons
to
select "Active," "Basic," or "Off."
Check. the rear terminals
of
your VCR, then use the ('hart
below to determine
how you
should
set your Projection
TV.
O Press the ENTER or MF,NU
button

menu.
If your VCR has a rear

If you are not sure how to set your VCR's A/V Network

refer to your VCR's owner's
guide.
The A/V Network
can still be used to pass remote control
signals
even when the Projection
TV's "A/V Network"
setting
i,_"Off."
If you do not use the A/V Network
system,
set "A/V NeLwork" to
"Off." If you don't, channel
selecLion may ,_ot work correctly.
If you are using a Mitsubishi
VCR with A!V Network
or Active A!V
Network,
you should
have connected
it to the External
1
(EXT-1) input
of your Projection
TV.
