COMMON P RODUCT QUESTIONS
ARETHE SOUNDS M Y TREADMILL MAKES NORMAL?
All treadmills make a certain type of thumping noise flue to the belt rifling over the milers,especially new
treadmills. This noise wit diminish over time, although may not totally go away.Overtime, the belt will
stretch, causing the belt to ride smootherover the rollers.
WHYIS THETREADMILL I PURCHASED LOUDER THAN THEONE ATTHE STORE?
All fitness proinicts seem quieter in a large store showroombecause there is generally morebackgrounfl noise
than in your home. Also, there will be less reverberation on a carpeted concretefloor than on a woodoverlay
floor. Sometimesa heavyrubber mat will help refluce reverberation through the floor. If a fitness profluct is
placed close to a wall, there will be more reflected noise.
WHEN SHOULD I BE WORRIED A BOUT A NOISE?
As long as the soundsyour treadmill makesare no Iotiner than a normal conversational tone of voice, it is
consiflerefl normal noise.
TROUBLESHOOTING-
TREADMILL

troubleshootingguifle fistefl below.
PROBLEM:
If you have attempted to
move the treadmill from the box and
the machine has sprung open and
cannot be assembled.

Theair shocks have been engageflprematurely. Tocorrect this, tilt the machine on its nose by lifting
the fleck (light end) upwards. Folfl flown the fleck so that it is horizontal. Youmay nowproceefl with the assembly.
PROBLEM: Theconsolefloes not light up anfl/or the belt floes not move.
SOLUTION:
Verifythe following:
DOESTHEREDLIGHTONTHEON/OFF SWITCH LIGHTUP?
IF YES:
• Doublecheck that all connections are secure,especially the console cable. Unplug anfl reconnectthe console
cable to verify.
• Make sure the consolecable is not pinched or damaged in any way.
• Turnthe power off, unping the power cable and wait 60 seconds. Removemotor cover. Wait until aft red LED
lights havegone off on the motor control boardbeforeproceeding.Next, verify that noneof the wires connected
to the lower board are looseor disconnected.
IF NO:
Verifythat the outlet the machine is pluggefl into is functional Doublecheck that the breakerhas not tripped,
it is on a dedicated 20-amp circuit, it is not on a GFCI-equippedoutlet, and it is not pluggefl into a power
strip/surge protector or extensioncord.
Thepower cord is not pinched or damaged and is properlyphinged into the outlet AND the machine.
Thepower switch is turned to the ONposition.
