To Add, Reprogram or Change a Key/ess Entry PIN
NOTE: Your new KeylessEntry must be programmed to operate your garage door opener.
USINGTHE "LEARN" BUTTON
USINGTHE DOORCONTROL

1. Pressand releasethe "learn" button on
motor unit. The learn LEDwill glow
steadilyfor 30 seconds.
2. Within 30 seconds,enter a four digit
personalidentificationnumber (PIN) of
your choice on the keypad.Then press
and hold the ENTERbutton.
3. Release the button whenthe motor unit
lights blink. It haslearnedthe code. If
light bulbsare not installed,two clicks
will be heard.

To changean existing, knownPIN
If the existing PIN is known, it may be changedby one person
without usinga ladder.
1. Pressthe four buttons for the presentPIN,then pressand hold
the # button.
Theopener light will blink twice. Release the # button.
2. Pressthe new 4-digit PIN you havechosen,then press ENTER.
The motor unit lights will blink oncewhenthe PIN has been learned.
Test by pressingthe new PIN,then press ENTER. T he door should
move.
To set a temporaryPIN
You mayauthorizeaccess by visitors or servicepeoplewith a
temporary 4-digit PIN.After a programmed numberof hours or
number of accesses,this temporary PIN expiresand will no longer
open the door. It can be usedto closethe door evenafter it has
expired.To set a temporary PIN:
1. Pressthe four buttons for your personalentry PIN (not the last
temporary PIN),then press and hold the • button.
Theopener light will blink three times. Release the button.
NOTE: Thismethod requirestwo people if the KeylessEntry is
alreadymounted outside the garage.
1. Pressthe Learn button on the door control.
2. Pressthe Learn button again to confirm
Learn Mode.
3. Entera four digit personalidentification
number (PIN) of your choice on the keypad.
Thenpress ENTER.
4. Whenthe motor unit lights blink, it has
learnedthe code. If light bulbs are not
installed,two clicks will be heard.

ENTER.
Theopener light will blink four times.
3. To set the number of hol/rsthistemporary PIN will work, press
the number of hours (up to 255), then press _.
OR
3. To set the number of timesthistemporary PIN will work, press
the number of times (up to 255), then press #.
The opener light will blink oncewhenthe temporary PIN has been
learned.
Test by pressingthe four buttons for the temporary PIN,then press
ENTER. T he door should move. If the temporary PINwas set to a
certain numberof openings,rememberthat the test has usedup one
opening.To clearthe temporarypassword, repeatsteps 1-3, setting
the numberof hours or times to 0 in step 3.
OneButtonClose:Openercan be closedby pressing only the ENTER button if the one button close featurehas beenactivated.This feature
has beenactivatedat the factory. Toactivateor deactivatethis featurepress and hold buttons 1 and 9 for 10 seconds. Thekeypad will blink
twice whenthe one button close is active. Thekeypadwill blink four times whenone button close is deactivated.
