6. Check the Share this printer chec nd then type a name in the Share name .
7. Click Additional Drivers and select the operating sys network clients printing to
this printer.
8. Click OK.
For Win ver 2008:
1. Click Start Control Panel Printers.
2. Right-click the printer icon and select ring.
3. Check the Share this printer check box, and then type a name i Share name text
box.
4. Click Additional and select the operating systems of all network clients prin this
printer.
5. Click OK.
The PCL driver supports an Additional Driver for Win a (not including Itanium). To register
the Additional Driver, follo structions below.
1. Click  Control Panel Hardware and Sound Printers.
2. Right-click the printer's icon ct Sharing.
3. Click the Change sharing options b
4. Click the Continue button.
5. Click Additional D and select the processors of all the network clients printin his
printer.

7. Click the Browse button and locate the driver in the Drive tilities CD

Ensure the printer ob the Printers and Faxes (nters for Wi 00) folder shows it is
shared. For example, i s 2000, a hand is shown underneath the printer icon.

Browse My Network Places (Network Neighborho for Windows 2000). Find
the host name of the server and look he shared name you assigned to the
multifuncti nter.
Now that the multifunction prin s shared, you can install the multifunction pr on network
clients using the point and pri hod or the peer-to-peer method
