The language is set to English by default. The default language, as well as German, Spanish, and
Portuguese are always stored in flash memory. When you select a language other than those
automatically stored in flash memory, if you are connected to the Internet at the time you select it,
that language is also stored in memory.

If you are connected to the Internet and select a language that is not already stored in flash
memory, the language is downloaded from the NETGEAR server and stored in the current
language partition of flash memory.
•
If you are not connected to the Internet when you select a language, you can only select as the
current language one of the languages that is stored in flash memory.
To specify a language to be used on your router manager screens, do the following:
1. Expand the list and select the language you want.
2. Click Apply.
