Replacing the Fan Assembly
Untwist the black fasteners in the drawers to loosen the cable guide spools. (See

Push the spools down towards the black fasteners. Carefully pull out the cables from the spools towards

Flip the cable management tray up so that it no longer covers the fan tray. (See

Attach the hook on the tray to the rack mount part of the tray on the rack so that it stays in the up position.

Unscrew the captive installation screws on the fan assembly.
Step 7
Grasp the fan assembly captive installation screws and pull them towards you.
