RECIPES
MULLED WINE
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
16 fl.oz (500ml) red wine
¼ tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp ground cloves
¼ tsp ground nutmeg
2 tbsp baker's (ultra-fine) sugar
4 slices lemon
4 slices orange
METHOD
1.
Assemble the milk frother with the
'Capp' disc firmly in place.
2.
Place wine and spices in the milk jug.
Cover with the jug lid and place onto the
power base.
3.
Select the maximum temperature and
start frothing.
4.
After 3 minutes, add sugar to taste and
continue to heat until milk frother stops,
approximately 6mins.
5.
Add lemon and oranges to hot wine
mixture and allow to infuse for a couple
of minutes before serving citrus slices
and mulled wine into 4 short heatproof
drinking glasses. Serve hot immediately.
