Description
Configures the user accessible USB ports. Selecting Only Back Ports On
disables the front USB ports; selecting All Ports Off disables all front and
back USB ports. Selecting Only Back Ports On disables the front USB
ports; selecting All Ports Off disables all front and back USB ports; selecting
All Ports Off (Dynamic) disables all front and back USB ports during
POST.Selecting All Ports Off disables all front and back USB ports; selecting
All Ports Off (Dynamic) disables all front and back USB ports during POST.
Selecting All Ports Off disables all front and back USB ports.This option is
set to All Ports On by default. When user accessible USB ports are set to All
Ports Off (Dynamic) the Enable Front Ports Only option is enabled.
● Enable Front Ports Only: Enables or disables the front USB ports during
the operating system runtime.
The USB keyboard and mouse still function in certain USB ports during the
boot process, depending on the selection. After the boot process is complete,
the USB ports will be enabled or disabled as per the setting.
Enables or disables the internal USB port. This option is set to On or Off. This
option is set to On by default.
NOTE:
The Internal USB port is on the PCIe riser 1b.
The iDRAC Direct USB port is managed by iDRAC exclusively with no host
visibility. This option is set to ON or OFF. When set to OFF, iDRAC does not
detect any USB devices installed in this managed port. This option is set to On
by default.
Enables or disables the integrated network card. When this option is set to
Enabled, the card is not available to the operating system. This option is set to
On by default.
NOTE:
If set to Disabled (operating system), the Integrated NICs might
still be available for shared network access by iDRAC.
Enables or disables the Embedded NIC1 and NIC2. If set to
Disabled (OS), the NIC may still be available for shared network access by the
embedded management controller.
Configure the
Embedded NIC1 and NIC2 option by using the NIC management utilities of
the system. This option is set to
Enabled by default.
Enables or disables the Embedded NIC1 and NIC2. If set to
Disabled (OS), the NIC may still be available for shared network access by the
embedded management controller.
Configure the
Embedded NIC1, NIC2, NIC3 and NIC4 option by using the NIC management
utilities of the system. This option is set to
Enabled by default.
