Replace The Battery - Honeywell ScanPal EDA10A User Manual

• Power off the computer.
• Place the unit in Swap Battery mode (see below).
Hot Swap
You can replace the battery on demand provided the following conditions are met:
• The tablet has been powered on for at least 4 minutes.
AND
• You insert a new battery within 30 seconds.

Replace the Battery

Remove the Battery
1. Either power off the computer or place it in battery swap mode. See
Attempting to Remove the Battery
2. Release the hand strap, if applicable.
3. Pull the battery cover up at the notch then remove the battery cover from the
unit.
4. Slide the battery release latches to unlock the battery.
