4 Key Features
4.1   P-T Measurement

4.1 P-T Measurement

The ERX350 supports two Internally mounted Pressure Transducers (PnPPT) along with one Temperature
Probe and internal Ambient (Case) Temperature measuring device.

4.1.1 Gas Pressure

Gas pressure is measured on a time-based approach (every 30 seconds), as opposed to being based on
volume input. With each 30 second measurement, the gas pressure correction factor is computed and
high and low Pressure alarms are checked (regardless of flow rate conditions).
The ERX350 uses a high resolution analog to digital conversion process to produce a very accurate final
reading.
Up to two Pressure Transducer can be used with the ERX350. The Pressure Transducer connected to the
P1 input is used for computing the Gas pressure correction factor (item 044). If a second Pressure
transducer is connected at P2 input, this serves to monitor pressure but is not used for correction. Gas
pressure measurement can be disabled for either transducer by use of items 1052 (P1 Enable) or 1053
(P2 Enable).
Refer to "Items reference" for information about the following pressure items and several other additional
pressure Items.
