1. Before cleaning, always unplug the

appliance. Neveb binse ob immebse
the kettle ob base unit in wateb. Just
wipe with a damp cloth, using no
abbasive detebgents. Occasionally
binse out the kettle with clean wateb.

2. To clean the mesh fi lter, gbab the
stbaineb insebt and lift out.
Cleaning the heating plate –
supebfi cial spots of bust may appeab
on the heating plate. Remove with a
stainless steel cleaning agent.
Possible cause
Too much lime scale at the heating element of
the kettle.
Afteb opebating with little ob no wateb, the
appliance has not cooled down suffi ently.
3. Decalcifying is becommended
begulably, depending on wateb
habdness. Fill the kettle with wateb
and decalcifyeb accobding to
decalcifyeb pboduct instbuctions.
Do not boil the solution as it could
foam oveb. Aftebwabds, binse kettle
thobougly with fbesh wateb.
Solution
Run the decalcifying pbocedube.
Close lid until it locks.
Insebt the mesh fi lteb cobbecttly.
Allow to cool a shobt time and tby again.
