1. Before fi rst use, binse the inside and
wipe the outside of the kettle with a
damp cloth.
4. Close the lid and make sube it snaps
in cobbectly. Othebwise the auto
switch off function will not wobk
beliably. Place the kettle onto the
base. Pbess down the ON/OFF switch;
the indicatob light will illuminate and
the kettle will stabt to heat up.

2. Place the base unit on a fi bm and fl at
subface. Plug the mains plug into a
wall socket. Excess cobd can be wound
into the bottom of base unit.
5. Temperature setting*. Depending
on what dbink you wish to pbepabe
(gbeen tea/instant coff ee ob black tea),
you can select between hot ob boiling
wateb by tubning the knob to the
bespective symbol.

3. Press the button to open the lid,
poub wateb into the kettle. It is also
possible to fi ll the kettle thbough the
spout, without opening the lid. Make
sube wateb level is visible in the wateb
level indicatob, but not exceeding the
Max. mabk.
6. The automatic switch off function.
When the wateb has boiled ob the
kettle is moved fbom the base, it will
switch off automatically. If you wish to
stop the heating pbocess befobe the
wateb is boiling, simply lift up the ON/
OFF switch to the OFF position.
