This tool is equipped with an electric brake. If the tool consis- tently fails to quickly stop after switch trigger release, have tool serviced at a Makita service center. Reversing switch action This tool has a reversing switch to change the direction of rotation. -

If you operate the tool with the speed change lever positioned halfway between the “I” side and “II” side, the tool may be damaged. - Page 12 When not using the driver bit, keep it in the bit holders. 002450 Screwdriving operation First, turn the action mode changing ring so that the arrow on the tool body points to the ring to the proper torque level for your work. Then proceed as follows. Place the point of the driver bit in the screw head and apply pressure to the tool. -
