6.2 Using the Working Curve Range and RSD (Check Sample)

6.2.1 Setting
Procedure
An unknown sample is checked on whether or not its
concentration lies within the working curve range. If not within
the range, the sample will be diluted at the specified dilution
factor and then measured again.
An unknown sample is also checked on whether or not its RSD
lies within the specified range. If not within the range, the
sample will be measured again.

Set the following items.
 Tolerance (%):
Stands for an allowable percent value above the Max.
limit concentration of working curve (maximum
concentration of standard sample). In case the
maximum concentration of standard sample is 10 mg/L
and the tolerance is 10%, the range of calibration is
limited to 11 mg/L at maximum.
When the method is set to manual, dilute the unknown
sample that exceeded the permissible range and
remeasure it. When the method is set to autosampler
with pretreatment, a sample preparation cut will be
necessary. Therefore, set the preparation test tube to
the cup number of [Unknown Sample Cup No. + 40].
 Check RSD:
For RSD judgment, click the check box.
 RSD Limit (%):
Input the permissible RSD range of unknown sample.
If this range is exceeded, the sample will be remeasured.
