3-2-3. SY-339 Board
CPU & DSP (IC101)
This is a SoC-type multimedia engine in which a RISC
processor and coprocessor are integrated into one chip and
in which an I cache function and peripheral function are
installed. This CPU & DSP mainly plays the leading part
of this unit such as the MPEG and JPEG compression of
video data, the compression and expansion of audio data,
the processing of software, and thread management.
DOC (IC205)
DOC can form a file system in flash memory using the
device driver of M-SYSTEM by flash memory of 64M
bytes. The software or application data of a system is
stored in this flash memory and expanded using IC101 (on
the SY-339 board) when the power is turned on.
SDRAM (IC202 and IC204)
This is SDRAM that has 16-bit width and a capacity of
32M bytes. Two SDRAMs are used in this unit. SDRAM
of 64M bytes in total is used during access of 32-bit width.
Ethernet (IC302)
This is an Ethernet LAN controller that corresponds to the
bus for a None PCI interface during access of 16-bit width.
Ethernet is a type in which MAC + PHY was integrated.
It is compatible with 10Base-T/100Base-TX.
Audio codec (IC402): SNC-CS11 only
This is a stereo audio codec. It has internal A/D and D/A
converters. This audio codec is compatible with a data
transfer length of 16, 20, 24, and 32K/bps and a sampling
rate of 8 to 96 kHz. This unit performs audio input/output
data processing (A/D and D/A) and exchanges data with
DSP of TI (using a digital interface).
Audio amplifier (IC152): SNC-CS11 only
This is a two circuit-contained audio operational amplifier
of single power supply, low voltage, and low-saturation
output power supply. The audio amplifier is used for
amplification (53 dB) of MIC input.
Video buffer (IC401)
This is a low-voltage video amplifier that has an internal
low-pass filter and enables low-voltage driving. The video
buffer drives the composite video signal output from
IC101 (on the SY-339 board).

RTC (IC501)
This is a real-time clock IC that sends the data of time and
a calendar to the host by three-wire serial transfer. This
unit maintains the time using a super capacitor instead of a
battery when the power is turned off.
IC303: SNC-CS11 only
IC303 is a device for certifying it from a POE hub whether
this equipment is compatible with POE. The supply of a
voltage is started from a hub after certification.

3-2-4. CN-2861 Board

Photocoupler & relay
This photocoupler and relay have one input channel and
one output channel as the alarm (trigger) from the outside.
When a signal is input (active "low"), it is sent through a
photocoupler to DM270. When a signal is output, a relay
is turned on and off by the control from DM270.
3-2-5. PS-720 Board
DC-DC converter (IC800)
This DC-DC converter can output a 2-channel signal and
control synchronous rectification efficiently. It inputs a
voltage of 12 VDC and produces +5 V (500 mA) and +3.3
V (1 A). The DC-DC converter is constituted by
connecting N-CH MOS FET, a capacitor, and an inductor
to the outside.
