4. TROUBLESHOOTING
a. POWER TRIM/TILT

Go to "Power Trimnilt Motor Does Not
Operate" TROUBLESHOOTING on
page 2-5.

Check for motor sound.

Fill with ATF (P. 13-28).
Check the manual valve.

Faulty power trim/tilt assembly.
Check and repair the power trim/tilt
assembly according to the table on

Check for oil leakage from each mating
part.
Not leaking
Check the oil level with the piston rod
fully extended (P. 13-28).

Check 'or air in the system.

Replace the O-ring and/or oil seal at
