Help Guide | For outdoor recording
The pre-recording feature allows you to buffer sound sources for a maximum of five
seconds prior to the point when the button for recording is actually pressed.
Long battery life enables continuous recording for approximately 8 hours with four LR6
(size AA) alkaline batteries (when recording with monitor in the DSD 2.8MHz/1bit
(STEREO) recording mode).
A carrying case is provided for use when carrying the PCM-D100 outside, and it can
also be attached to a belt using the belt strap of the supplied carrying case.
As a high-quality music player
The PCM-D100 supports digital recording from an external device, allowing you to
preserve your music library just as they are in the original digital recording.
You can exchange digital sound files with your computer and external device. This
feature allows you to transfer digital recording to your computer to save them, or copy
digital files from your computer to enjoy playback, and then transfer them to an external
device for playback.
