Recording with high signal-to-noise ratio (S/N 100dB)
With two A/D converters for one channel, the linear PCM recorder always reserves audio
for the digital limiter, which is 12 dB lower than audio processed in the normal circuit. If
over-input occurs while the S/N 100dB function is enabled, the recorded data from the
point when the over-input starts is replaced. The S/N 100dB function achieves a high S/N
ratio by replacing two different leveled A/D converters with holding linearity. With the S/N
100dB function, you can record with low noise even with a low recording level.
