Formatting the memory (Format)

You can format the currently selected memory media (the built-in memory or the memory
card), to erase all the data and reset the folder structure to its default status.
1. In the stop mode, press and hold the HOME/BACK button for more than 1 second,
select "
"Erase All Data?" appears on the display.
2. Press
The "Please wait" animation appears and the memory media is formatted.
3. Press and hold the HOME/BACK button to return to the HOME menu.
Note
Use the linear PCM recorder formatting function to format the memory media. Do not
use your computer to format the media.
