The "Digital SYNC REC" is set to "ON." ("Digital SYNC REC" is set to "OFF" by
default.)
4. Press the HOME/BACK button.
The stop mode display appears again.
5. Slide the INPUT switch to the "LINE" position.
6. Perform recording operation in the same way as when using the built-in microphones

7. Start playback on the external device.
Recording starts automatically with track information from the connected external
device. When a new file is played back, recording also starts as a new file.
Note

signals cannot be saved in the same file.
During digital recording, the counter display might be approximately one second later
than the actual recording.
During digital recording from a CD/MD/DAT player, the linear PCM recorder may fail to
record in synchronized recording mode depending on the type of source data or
operations attempted.
Operation cannot be guaranteed for all types of CD/MD/DAT players. Some external
devices may not operate properly.
During digital recording, the following features cannot be used:
MIC ATT switch
Recording level setting
LIMITER setting
Recording mode setting
LCF(Low Cut) setting
SBM(Super Bit Mapping) setting
