This document introduces the Cisco CRS 8-Slot Line
Card Chassis Enhanced router. The Cisco CRS 8-Slot
Line Card Chassis Enhanced router includes the
following new features :
• The mid-plane on the Cisco CRS 16-Slot Line
Card Chassis Enhanced router is redesigned to
support 400G per slot.
• The Cisco CRS 8-Slot Line Card Chassis
Enhanced router has its own power and cooling
subsystems .
• A new power shelf with an upgraded 70 Amp
circuit breaker has been introduced for the new
Cisco CRS 8-Slot Line Card Chassis Enhanced
router .
• The Cisco CRS 8-Slot Line Card Chassis
Enhanced router removes the zone circuit breaker
and thus, eliminates power-zoning .
