Lock nut V pulleys in the direction of the arrow while lifting up the wrench belt with a Lock nut wrench of a Makita grinder. (Fig. 2) Poly V-belt When you replace the Poly V-belt with new one, remove 5-285 simply by cutting the worn belt with cutting pliers. - Page 3 P 3 / 6 epair [3] -2. Replacing Armature and Drum CAUTION: Be careful not to cut yourself on the sharp edges on the front faces of Drum. DISASSEMBLING 1) After removing Poly V-belt, remove; Chip cover, Brush holder caps and Carbon brushes, M4x25 Pan head screw (1pc.), then four M5x14 Pan head screws. Now Motor housing can be separated from Main frame.
