Dis-Coloration and Darkening

『Colour transfer』
Colour transfer that occurs when washing items likely to fade are washed together. The
colour drops during washing, and shifts to other items.
『Re-contamination』
Re-contamination occurs when too little detergent is used in the wash. The small volume of
detergent drops from the fibre and dissolves in the water, causing it to darken and
depositing a grey film on the clothing.
Re-contamination can also occur if too much fabric softener is used.
『Colour contamination』
Colour contamination occurs when foreign objects inside the washing machine (mildew on
the interior fittings, dirt, rust caused by metallic objects in pockets, etc.) and get caught in
the wash and deposit a colour on the washing.
