Usage Information You cannot use Class D or Class E IP addresses or zero IP address (0.0.0.0) when
creating a static ARP. Zero MAC addresses (00:00:00:00:00:00) are also invalid.
Use this command in Configuration Terminal Batch mode to associate an IP address
with a MAC address in a dual-homing setup.

For a 40-Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter the keyword
fortyGigE then the slot/port information.
For a port extender (PE) Gigabit Ethernet interface, enter
the keyword peGigE then the pe-id, stack-unit unit
number, and port-ID. The pe-id range is 0–255; the stack-
unit unit number range is 0–7; and the port-id range is 0–
48.
