Installing the grip
Fit the grip onto the pipe and tighten it with the bolt and
the knob.

Make sure that the grip is located in the straight area of
the shaft shown in the figure.

Installing the guard

WARNING:
Never use the tool without the
guard illustrated in place. Failure to do so can
cause serious personal injury.
CAUTION:
Take care not to injure yourself on
the cutter for cutting the nylon cord.
1. Align the projections on the protector with the
grooves of the motor housing.

Align the projections on the protector holder with
its counter parts of the motor housing.

3. Tighten the hex bolts securely to fasten the protec-
tor and the protector holder.

Installing the wire guard
CAUTION:
wait for the cutting head comes to standstill. Do
not adjust the wire guard with your foot.
