Gy Interface

The Gy reference interface enables online accounting functions on the P-GW in accordance with 3GPP Release 8

specifications.

Supported protocols:

Transport Layer: TCP

Network Layer: IPv4, IPv6

Data Link Layer: ARP

Physical Layer: Ethernet

Gz Interface

The Gz reference interface enables offline accounting functions on the P-GW. The P-GW collects charging information

for each mobile subscriber UE pertaining to the radio network usage.
