ASN Gateway Overview
Step Description
7 ASN Gateway/FA exchanges NetExit_MS_State_Change_Req and NetExit_MS_State_Change_Rsp messages with the
anchor accounting client, anchor authenticator, and MIP client to delete MS contexts.
8 ASN Gateway sends Accounting-Stop-Request (Release Indication) message to H-AAA.
9 AAA replies with Accounting-Stop-Response message to ASN Gateway.
10 ASN Gateway/FA replies with Path_Dereg_Response message to ASN BS.
11 ASN BS sends R6 Path_Dereg_Ack to the ASN Gateway and related entities releases the retained MS context and the
assigned data path resource for the MS.

Intra-ASN Gateway Handover
