3.14.2 Enable or Disable SNMP Agent

SNMP communication disabled by default on the QuickPanel+ device for security
purposes. To enable or disable SNMP communication using the QuickPanel
Settings tool refer to the procedure
Note Enabling or disabling SNMP communication is a one-time user configuration.

3.14.3 Export MIB to SD Card

With the SNMP Agent is enabled on the QuickPanel
Management Information Base (MIB) QuickPanelMIB.mib file to a SD Card.

To export the MIB to a SD Card
1. Insert a working SD Card into the external card slot on the QuickPanel
From the Start menu, select System, open the QuickPanel
2.
select the SNMP Agent tab.
Copy the MIB file to the SD Card.

Enable or Disable SNMP
+ device, export the QuickPanel
It is highly recommended that you pre-load GE
MIBs (GEIP-SMI.txt and GEIP-PRODUCTS-MIB.
txt in sequence) prior to loading the QuickPanelMIB.
mib file into SNMP Managers to avoid any MIB
compiler errors.
Contact technical support or download the MIBs
GEIP-SMI.txt and GEIP-PRODUCTS-MIB.txt
from the Support Site and QuickPanelMIB.mib can
be copied from the QuickPanel
performing the following procedure.
