T h e regular fu rn a c e filter collects m ainly large,
visible particles that reach the filter. Its main
p urpose is to protect the fu rn a c e and air
conditioner blow er. T h e electronic air c le a n e r
collects th e s e large particles, plus m an y of the
sm aller, m ostly invisible particles. Its p urpose is
to reduce indoor air pollution as well as to
protect the blow er, air conditioning coils and
h eat e xchang er.
